Located in the Meta department, in the municipality of La Macarena, Caño Cristales is a river in the Serranía de la Macarena National Park. It is renowned for its stunning beauty, with crystalline waters that shift between emerald green, yellow, blue, and red due to the presence of diverse aquatic plants and life.
Climate: Warm year-round, with temperatures ranging between 21°C and 31°C.
What to wear: Comfortable, lightweight clothing suitable for activities. Long-sleeve shirts for sun protection, lightweight pants (avoid jeans), comfortable sneakers that can get wet, and a cap with neck protection. Use shoes appropriate for wet and dry activities.
